Some people complain about encroaching legislation. I admit that some legislation is a good thing.
But the trouble with legislation is that it’s in its nature to beget more legislation.
I recently read that England is the country with the most surveillance cameras per head of population.
That worries me, that makes me glad that I no longer live there. One night I was wondering what would happen if things went too far.
If, for example, it became illegal to ride motorbikes in groups of more than three or four.
Well, this is the result of those worrying thoughts…..
The Last Run
The early morning mist rose slowly off the winter ground as the sun tried to warm the frozen road.
There were thirteen of us here - all of us that remained from the original club.
This would be our last ride - there would be no more.
And so we waited silently astride our bikes, all waiting for a signal, a signal that would begin the end.
